Twisted Sista Alison Relauncher Business Coach

November’s Twisted Sista | Alison Morgan | Relauncher

In November, we’ve been chatting to Alison Morgan from Relauncher. Alison is a specialist Online Business Coach who works with small businesses on business and marketing solutions and is also the host of the ever popular Relauncher podcast. We chat to her to find out about her life as one of our favourite #GirlBosses.

What made you start your own business? Have you always had that Girl Boss Hustle? Or was it something that you grew into?

I knew I wanted my own business from the age of 16. I just had no idea what it would be. I went to uni, did the whole Corporate role for many years until I had children. It was having my 2 boys which then gave me the opportunity to reset and create my own business to allow for a flexible lifestyle.

What do you know now, that you wish you knew when you were younger?

To not worry about what others think or take on the burden of society expectations. I made a lot of decisions based on what I thought others thought of me. I never do this now, and I’m so thankful I’ve realised I need to follow my own dreams and destiny. This is something I continually teach my boys – to make decisions based on what they want and aspire to rather than what they think others will want from them.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

Absolutely everything. I’ve created a huge variety of elements in my business, so there is never a dull moment. My Business Coaching clients are all wonderful and so inspiring. The team that work with me for both Relauncher and Sticky Studio are fabulous. I could go on forever… The main element for running your own business is to create it to suit you and what you want to achiever. Being proactive rather than reactive is a game changer in both life and business.

If you were a Twisted Frozen Yoghurt flavour, what would you be?

Vanilla Bean & Strawberries!

What’s been the biggest achievement in your business?

Creating it into a consistently organically growing business. The business has been going for over 8 years now, and each year I evolve it slightly to allow for continued growth in a manageable manner. It’s taken a lot of focus, dedication and hard work to do this. I often look back and smile. The learnings I’ve had (and continue to have) along the way, both professionally and personally have made me who I am today. I am super proud.

How would your BFF describe you?

Highly energetic, focused and hard working. She likes to have fun along the way too!

If you could share a glass of wine with anyone (famous, not famous, living or dead) who would it be?

My Dad.
